Gravity Pass sends emails for you: booking confirmations, waiver links, sign-in codes for returning customers, order updates and more. Under Administration > Email > Settings you choose how they’re sent.
Choose a provider
| Option | Use it when |
|---|---|
| SMTP | You have your own mail server, or you’d like to use the SMTP details of a provider such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or Amazon SES. |
| Mailgun | You have a Mailgun account and prefer to send through its API. |
| Don’t send | Email is switched off. |
Sender
Shown once you pick SMTP or Mailgun.
- From name (optional): who the email appears to be from, such as “Peak Uplift”.
- From email: the address emails are sent from, such as
[email protected]. Your provider must allow sending from this address, usually by verifying its domain.
SMTP settings
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Host | The mail server, such as smtp.example.com. |
| Port | Usually 587, or 465. |
| Encrypt the connection (TLS) | Leave this on unless your provider says otherwise. |
| Username and Password | Leave the username blank if the server needs no sign-in. |
Mailgun settings
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Sending domain | The domain you added in Mailgun, such as mg.example.com. |
| Region | US or EU: where your Mailgun domain is hosted. |
| API key | A sending or private key from your Mailgun account. |
Passwords and API keys are stored encrypted and are never shown again. When editing, the box says “Saved. Leave blank to keep it”, so you only retype it to change it.
Send a test
After saving, use Send a test email at the bottom of the page. Enter an address and check it arrives. If it doesn’t, check the spam folder first. The test uses the saved settings, so save any changes before testing.
