# Integrations

> **Administrators only**
>
> This part of the portal is only visible to people with the **Administrator** role. If you can't see it in your menu, ask an administrator. See [Roles and permissions](/reference/roles-and-permissions).

Under **Marketing > Integrations** each supported tool has a card showing whether it's **Connected** and, if so, which audience or list it's sending to.

## Mailchimp

Adds customers to a Mailchimp audience.

1. **Create an API key**

In Mailchimp, go to **Profile, Extras, API keys** and create one. It ends with a dash and a server name, such as `-us21`.
2. **Find your Audience ID**

In Mailchimp, go to **Audience, Settings, Audience name and defaults**. The Audience ID is shown there.
3. **Connect**

In Gravity Pass choose **Connect** on the Mailchimp card, paste both, and save.

## SendGrid

Adds customers to a SendGrid Marketing contact list.

1. **Create an API key**

In SendGrid, go to **Settings, API Keys** and create a key with the **Marketing** permission. It starts with `SG.`.
2. **Find your List ID**

Open the list under **Marketing, Contacts, Lists**. The ID is the long code at the end of its web address.
3. **Connect**

In Gravity Pass choose **Connect** on the SendGrid card, paste both, and save.

## What happens when you save

Gravity Pass **checks the key with the tool first**, and only saves it if it works. The key is then stored **encrypted and never shown again**. When editing, leave the key box blank to keep the saved key.

## Edit or disconnect

- **Edit** lets you change the key or the list.
- **Disconnect** stops new customers being sent, and stops opt-outs being passed on. **Contacts already in the tool are not removed.** You're asked to confirm.

## Connect both?

You can connect Mailchimp and SendGrid together. Customers are sent to every connected tool.

Next, decide whether to [send new customers automatically](/marketing/configuration).
