# Gravity Pass Operator Guide

Gravity Pass is the system you use to sell uplift sessions, events, season passes and merchandise, and to look after the people who buy them. This guide is for **you, the operator**: the person (or team) who sets Gravity Pass up and runs it day to day.

It is not a guide for your customers. They never see this site. They use your booking site and your shop, and everything you configure here decides what they see there.

> **In a hurry?**
>
> If this is a new system, follow the [setup checklist](/getting-started/setup-checklist). If you just need to do something today, such as check people in or move a booking, go straight to [Running your day](/daily).

## Find what you need

- **Getting started** — How the parts fit together, how to sign in, and the order to set things up in. [Start here](/getting-started)
- **Setting up** — Your organisation, payments, email, branding and team. [Set up](/setup)
- **What you sell** — Slots, tickets, events, season passes, vouchers and closures. [Open](/selling)
- **Running your day** — Bookings, check-in, customers, waivers and statistics. [Open](/daily)
- **Merchandise** — Products, postage, fulfilment, orders and refunds. [Open](/merchandise)
- **Marketing** — Connect Mailchimp or SendGrid, and export your customer list. [Open](/marketing)
- **Compliance** — The audit log, subject access requests, and erasing a customer's data. [Open](/compliance)
- **Reference** — Roles and permissions, a glossary, and fixes for common problems. [Open](/reference)

## What you can do depends on your role

Each person on your team has one or more **roles**, and the portal only shows them the screens they need.

| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| **Operations** | Bookings, check-in and customers. |
| **Fulfilment** | Merchandise fulfilment and orders. |
| **Administrator** | Everything, including setup and managing the team. |

Pages in this guide that only apply to administrators say so at the top. The full list is in [Roles and permissions](/reference/roles-and-permissions).
