# Bookings

**Operations > Bookings** shows every booking, newest first. Everyone with the Operations role can use it.

## Find a booking

- **By reference:** type it into the **Reference** box and choose **Find**. References start with your [booking prefix](/setup/account-settings#bookings) followed by a dash and a short code, such as `GP-4K7Q2M9X`. The box shows your own prefix as a hint. Clearing the box and pressing **Find** returns to the full list.
- **By status:** use the **Status** filter.
- **By customer:** open the customer from [Customers](/daily/customers), whose page lists all their bookings.

## List or calendar

Switch between the two with the **List / Calendar** buttons. The screen remembers your choice.

### List

Bookings in pages of 20. Each shows the reference, status and total, then the customer, the date and time (with the slot or event name), how many places and which tickets, and when it was booked. Select a row to open it.

### Calendar

A month grid, Monday first. Each booking appears on the day it **rides**, with its start time and customer name, coloured by status. Use ‹ and › to change month and **Today** to jump back. Hover a booking for a quick summary. Select it to open it.

Bookings with no session date can't be placed on the calendar. A note tells you how many are hidden.

## Statuses

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Pending** | The customer has started a booking but not paid yet. Their places are held for **15 minutes**. |
| **Confirmed** | Paid. This is a real booking. Only Confirmed bookings appear in [Check in](/daily/check-in). |
| **Cancelled** | Cancelled by you (and refunded, if it had been paid). |
| **Expired** | The customer never paid, so the hold ran out and the places were released. |

> **Seeing who is coming**
>
> For a busy day, switch to **Calendar**, filter to **Confirmed**, and open the day you care about. For arrival-day work, use [Check in](/daily/check-in), which is built for it.

## Open a booking

A booking's page shows the session, who booked it, everyone on it, the tickets and price breakdown, and a full history. See [Managing a booking](/daily/managing-a-booking).
